This summer I will be running drop-in Mapmaking Workshops for all ages from a pop-up tent, as part of MK Festival Fringe's Pitch project.

My FREE, drop in workshops will take place on Tuesday 22 July 2014, 11am–4pm & Thursday 24 July 2014, 1:30–3:30pm.

Come along and unleash your inner cartographer in this fun workshop for all ages. Create a unique map of your favourite place or journey using painting, drawing and sewing techniques, and add to the large Mapmaking Tent installation.

Pitch is a special three day programme of fringe arts taking place in pop-up tents; 14 artists are taking part in this extraordinary trail of happenings in City Square. There’ll be everything from performance and visual art, to theatre and climate change drama! The tents will be hosting all sorts of happenings at different times – so there should be something new to experience each time you visit. Find out more here.

MK Festival Fringe focuses on a bi-annual event which complements the Milton Keynes International Festival. The Festival Fringe showcases street arts, performance, outdoor theatre, visual arts, music, comedy and dance; often staging these in unusual spaces that aren’t always associated with the arts.

This years MKFF is taking place across Milton Keynes, 17–24 July 2014.
